Guided visits
DESCRIPTION
Symbol of Paris and France, the Eiffel Tower is one of the monuments the most visited in the world. As never seen before since its construction in 1889, the Tower invites you on a fascinating discovery behind the scenes.
With your guide, you will enter the original machine room where the elevators are controlled, you will discover a bunker located under the Champ de Mars garden, take a tour of the control room on the first floor and have a chance to admire the surprising vantage-point view looking out over the esplanade below.
In the course of the visit, the guide will reveal some of the most unusual anecdotes concerning the history of the Eiffel Tower, including the harships encountered during its construction and Gustave Eiffel's plans to maintain the structure for the centuries to come.
